Enigma Films and The Nightmare Collection put together a very special promotion. We held a contest with Treasure Chest Poker and The Slug of Tampa to put one lucky winner at the table to film a scene from the upcoming The Nightmare Collection Volume 2 DVD called, The Final Table of Death.

The teaser poster for the scene was a real family affair as my brother Willie's girlfriend Stephanie (far left), my nephew Marc's wife Kimena (second from the right) and my cousin Lizette (far right) joined my good friend Krista at the table. Thank you ladies, I love you all.

The winner of the Final Table of Death contest, Steve Zaleski, was selected from a pool of entry's collected over a one month span. And on Wednesday August 19th, his moment in the sun came to life. The cast and crew for The Nightmare Collection Volume 2 descended upon The Slug in Tampa and filmed the very special scene that unites Necro Nancy and the world of poker.
In the scene Necro Nancy (Krista Grotte) is playing in a poker game while waiting for her next victim, CJ (Julie Anne), a bartender at The Slug, gets off her shift. During the game Nancy almost throws in a bonus kill as she has a confrontation with another player in a big hand. Once CJ finally takes her break, Nancy meets up with her outside and dispenses her kind of punishment.
NOTE: The hand I used for the FTD scene was a real hand that played out at my friend Chris Bower's game several years ago. I slow played my monster and ended up knocking him out of a very big cash game. Now that fabulous moment in time will forever be immortalized on celluloid.
